Doctor Tran earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of California at Berkley, Masters at Chicago Medical School, Chicago Illinois and completed Medical School at The George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington D.C. He completed his orthopedic residency at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Tran is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of Kershaw County Medical Society and Society of Military Orthopedics Surgeons.

Doctor Murphy earned his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina. He completed his fellowship subspecialty training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the University of South Carolina where he was a team doctor for multiple USC Gamecock varsity athletic teams including Football, the Final 4 Men’s Basketball team, Baseball, Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, Swimming and Diving, Tennis, Golf, and Cheerleading. He was also a team doctor for the Columbia Fireflies Single-A minor league baseball team. He currently helps lead the Kershaw County Sports Medicine Initiative to provide medical care and game coverage to all three Kershaw County High Schools and also works with Camden Military Academy. Dr. Murphy is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, South Carolina Medical Association, and South Carolina Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Murphy has additional training in musculoskeletal ultrasound and has taught courses and classes for healthcare professionals teaching about the musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Murphy is excited to bring his knowledge and experience with musculoskeletal ultrasound, SEC athletics, and professional baseball to care for the athletes and residents of Kershaw County.
